Fill the cup with water and then use that cup to fill up the butt all the way. You then have 2 ounces in the cup and 3 in the butt. Then dump out the butt and pour the 2 ounces from the cup into the now empty butt. Now refill the cup and use that to fill up the rest of the butt (1 ounce), leaving 4 ounces in the cup.
While this is technically correct we really would have preferred if you phrased your answer in the form of a reference to a timeless Eddie Murphy Classic
